Exhibition “Silence at the 7m line” at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences
The exhibition of the Croatian Sports Museum “Silence at the 7m line” finishes its journey across Croatia in 2022 at the Faculty of Educational and Rehabilitation Sciences of the University of Zagreb, where it was displayed on the occasion of the International Sign Language Day, September 23rd, and as part of the “European Heritage Days 2022”.
The exhibition’s opening, taking place on September 22nd 2022 at 18 o’clock, was enriched by the presence of Croatia’s deaf handball national team. Speaking for the organizers, participants and partners in the preparation and holding of the exhibition, were Andrej Krbec, General Secretary of the Croatian Sports Museum, doc. dr. sc. Damir Miholić, the Vice-Dean for Management of the Faculty of Educational and Rehabilitation Sciences, Marijo Lušić, the honorary President of the Croatian Deaf Sports Association, and, at the end, Martina Vargek, curator of the Croatian Sports Museum, who spoke of the exhibition’s subject and the successes of Croatia’s deaf handball national team. The opening program was led by Pavla Maksan, translator for the Zagreb Deaf Sports Association, while translation for those assembled was handled by Davorka Birmili, translator at the Croatian Deaf Sports Association.
The exhibition will remain open until October 6th 2022 at the Faculty of Educational and Rehabilitation Sciences of the University of Zagreb and it may be visited from Monday to Friday between 8 and 18 o’clock.
