Olympism is a philosophy, one founded on the respect of human dignity, universal ethical principles, the joy born of effort, the educational value of a good example. It is also a way of life, founded on mutual understanding. The educational workshop Olympism, using an interactive approach, sought to educate attendees about the Olympic games of the antiquity, the modern Olympic movement and its founder, Pierre de Coubertin, and about Olympic values.
