In keeping with the tradition established in 2018 and on the occasion of the awards ceremony for the national award for sports “Franjo Bučar” for 2022, on December 13th 2022 the exhibition “Franjo Bučar (25.11.1866.-26.12.1946.)” once again graced the halls of the Parliamentary Palace, the home of the Croatian Parliament. The exhibition, which covers doctor Franjo Bučar’s life and accomplishments, makes clear why the national award for sports bears his name and why Franjo Bučar bears the lofty title of the Father of Croatian sports.

The awards were handed out by the President of the Government of the Republic of Croatian, Andrej Plenković, the Vice-President of the Croatian Parliament, Ante Sanader, and the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Nikolina Brnjac.

The exhibition remained in the Parliamentary Palace until December 16th 2022.
