An exhibition dedicated to the Croatian Hawk, a physical exercise society founded in 1874. that came to encompass over 180 societies and counted more than 20.000 members by the beginning of the First World War, opened as a collaboration between the Croatian Sports Museum and the Juraj Šižgorić City Library in the library’s halls in Šibenik, Poljane 6. The exhibition presented not just a general history of the society and of its activities, but also a section dedicated to the activities of the Croatian Hawk in Šibenik.

The exhibition is open from October 1st until October 15th 2021.

The opening of the exhibition saw speeches of Danijel Mileta, Deputy Mayor of Šibenik, Dragan Zlatović, President of the City Council of Šibenik, Zlatko Jurić, Deputy Director of the Insitution Sports Venues Šibenik, Mirjana Žurić, Head of the Administrative Department of the City of Šibenik, Danira Bilić, Director of the Croatian Sports Museum, and Zdenka Bilušić, Head of the Department for Visual Culture of the Juraj Šižgorić City Library.
